ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) – Community members came together to discuss climate change and solutions in Rochester Monday.
The event at the Heintz Center, called Climate Minnesota, was put on by the organization Climate Generation: A Will Steger Legacy. It was one of 12 meetings that will happen across the state to raise awareness about our changing environment.
The evening started with a resource fair and food, and was followed by a proclamation from Rochester Mayor Ardell Brede, a story-telling panel, and solution workshops.
The event was free and open to the public.
